These Terms and Conditions apply to all purchases made through https://settanta.nl. When you place an order on our website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, which form a legally binding agreement between you and Settanta.
Article 1 – Definitions
In these Terms and Conditions, the following definitions apply:
Customer / you / your: any natural person placing an order via the webshop.
Agreement: the purchase agreement concluded between you and Settanta via the webshop.
Product(s): any vintage watch or accessory offered for sale by Settanta.
Settanta / we / us: Settanta, a sole proprietorship registered in the Netherlands.
Withdrawal right: the legal right to cancel the Agreement within the applicable period under EU consumer law.

Article 3 – Applicability
These Terms and Conditions apply to every offer, order, and Agreement concluded via the webshop.
Before completing a purchase, you can always review the most recent version of these Terms and Conditions on our website.
When you place an order, you expressly confirm that you:
have read these Terms and Conditions;
agree to their contents; and
accept their applicability to your purchase.
In addition, if product-specific conditions apply, the provision most favorable to the customer will prevail.
Article 4 – The Agreement
The Agreement is concluded once you successfully place an order and complete payment.
However, we may refuse or cancel an order in certain situations, such as:
incorrect pricing or typographical errors;
suspected fraud or misuse; or
limited availability of a Product.
In that case, if payment has already been made, we will refund the paid amount without undue delay.
Article 5 – Products and descriptions
Settanta offers vintage and pre-owned watches and accessories.
We describe all Products as accurately and transparently as possible.
However, due to the vintage nature of the Products, visible signs of age or wear may occur and do not qualify as defects.
Product images serve as illustrations and may differ slightly from the delivered Product.
Article 6 – Prices
All prices displayed on the website are in euros (€) and include applicable Dutch VAT, unless stated otherwise.
Prices may change over time; however, the price shown at checkout always applies to your order.
Therefore, later price changes do not entitle you to a refund of any price difference.
Article 7 – Payment
You must complete payment immediately during checkout.
We process payments exclusively via iDEAL.
Once payment is completed, we will process your order accordingly.
Article 8 – Shipping and delivery
All orders are shipped via PostNL.
Currently, delivery takes place within the Netherlands only.
At the moment of delivery:
the Product is considered delivered; and
the risk of loss or damage transfers to you.
Although we aim to meet estimated delivery times, these remain indicative and non-binding.
Article 9 – Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from the Agreement within 14 days after receiving the Product.
To exercise this right:
notify us by email within the withdrawal period; and
clearly state your intention to withdraw.
Afterward, the Product must be returned:
unused;
in its original condition; and
with all original packaging and accessories.
As a result, return shipping costs are your responsibility.
Once we receive the returned Product, we will process the refund within 14 days.
Article 10 – Vintage products and authenticity
All watches sold by Settanta are pre-owned vintage collector items.
Consequently, normal signs of wear, aging, or patina are inherent characteristics and do not constitute defects.
Mechanical accuracy may vary due to the age and construction of vintage timepieces.
Nevertheless, Settanta guarantees the authenticity of every watch offered for sale.
Article 11 – Complaints
If you have a complaint regarding a Product or our service, please contact us as soon as possible via info@settanta.nl.
When possible, include a clear explanation and supporting photographs.
We will respond to your complaint within 7 days of receipt.
Article 12 – Liability
Settanta is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the Product concerned, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
Article 13 – Privacy and data protection
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Article 14 – Governing law
Dutch law governs these Terms and Conditions and the Agreement.
If consumer protection laws grant you additional rights, those rights remain unaffected.

Article 15 – Amendments
Settanta may amend these Terms and Conditions at any time.
The version applicable to your Agreement is the version in force at the time of payment.
