Omega Geneve 166.041

Omega Genève Silver Sunburst 166.041

Omega Genève, silver sunburst dial, period-correct brick-link bracelet

An Omega from the early 1970s, built to be worn daily and still doing exactly that. This example runs strong on the timegrapher and carries its case wear honestly.

The steel case holds its original shape well. Moderate signs of wear consistent with age. The signed Omega crown still turns smoothly.

The silver sunburst dial shows some age spotting and darkened lume, original and untouched, no redial. Applied baton indexes with black inserts match the baton hands, which carry the same light oxidation as the dial ages around them.

Inside runs Omega’s Caliber 565, automatic, 24 jewels, with a quickset date function. On the timegrapher it measures +5/+6 seconds a day, accurate and consistent for a movement built over fifty years ago.

The watch comes on a period-correct steel brick-link bracelet, non-original, with normal wear across the links. Fits wrists up to 20cm.

A clean 166.041 with a movement that still performs. Case and dial are original, nothing hidden,
