Omega Seamaster 600 Champagne Sunburst
Omega Seamaster 600, champagne sunburst dial, tan leather strap
A manual-wind Seamaster from the mid-1960s, the more accessible sibling in Omega’s Seamaster range. This one, reference 136.011, is the date-equipped version and dates to 1966 based on the movement serial number.
The 34mm steel case is gently polished, holding its shape well after nearly sixty years. The champagne sunburst dial is the standout here: it shifts tone from soft champagne to brighter silver depending on the light, an effect a flat photo never fully captures. Applied gold-toned stick indices and a matching Omega logo pick up that same shift, with slender gold stick hands to match.
Inside runs Omega’s Calibre 611, hand-wound, 17 jewels, beating at 19,800 vph. The date is set the semi-quickset way, cycling the hands through 21 to 24h. The movement was professionally serviced before listing and now runs at +5 seconds a day.
The watch is fitted with a tan alligator-pattern leather strap by Di-Modell.
A clean 136.011 with a dial worth seeing in person, and a movement freshly serviced and ready to wear.
